NCR18650GA Protected Button Top 18650 lithium cell; 5A, 3500 mAh

The protected 18650 is an unprotected cell with a single-cell BMS module welded on to it and re-wrapped in an extra layer of transparent PVC. This is probably the best battery you can get to give your devices such as flash lights an incredibly longer life compared to the cheap or fake capacity cells you may have had to deal with. The added button top and module on the negative terminal make the cell longer, the total length terminal-to-terminal is about 70mm.

Update (2026): the cell is now green. The Green cell as pictured is the current freshest production batch. Cells are labeled as 3300 mAh nominal capacity, test 3500 if maxed out. For best results stick with the nominal capacity usage to reduce cell wear. Max charge 4.19V. Max discharge rate 5A (limited by the PCB attached to the cell's negative terminal).

It is currently one of the best priced high capacity cells on the market.
